The management committee have been considering how we can show the England matches in an environment that complies with Covid regulations.

For the first match on Sunday 13 June the club will be open from 1pm – 6pm. Tables will be set out as normal giving a capacity of approximately 50 people seated at tables. Drinks will only be served to members seated at tables and drinks are to be consumed whilst remaining seated at the tables or outdoors if you are not watching the football. It is not possible to serve people at the bar. There will be 2 bar staff on duty for this game.

For the second match on Friday 18 June at 8pm we anticipate a larger number of people wishing to watch the game at the club as this is also a colts training night. We have therefore taken the decision to remove the tables from the pavilion and arrange the seats in groups of 6 and in rows in front of the main TV screen. We anticipate being able to have at least 80 people seated in this way. The bar will be open from 5.30pm – 10.30pm. So that we are able to control the numbers we will be asking all those wishing to watch the game at the club to purchase a free ticket via a link with Eventbrite. A further email will be issued on Sunday 13th June with the link, and tickets will be released on Sunday 13th June at midnight. If you wish to watch the game, you will need to purchase a ticket for each member of your group including children.

Once again drinks will only be served to members that are seated and drinks must be consumed whilst seated. Again, it is not possible to serve people at the bar. There will be 4 bar staff on duty for this game. It is not possible to bring friends or non-members to this event. Each ticket purchased via Eventbrite must be named. Please do not purchase tickets that you won’t use as that could potentially stop a member being able to watch the game at the club as once all tickets are sold no more will be available.

As the third game on Tuesday 22 June falls after the anticipated lifting of restrictions we will hopefully be able to show this game without the restrictions above in place. If the restrictions are not lifted on 21 June we will operate with the system described above as for the first match.

We trust that members will understand the steps that we have decided to take and will support our decision. We also trust that members attending the events will continue to follow Covid regulations set out by the club.
